I have had acne long-term and have tried most everything in the book. I would not recommend Proactiv. I have had the most luck with DDF (spot treatment and pumice scrub is great...but watch out for drying), although now my skin has formed an immunity to the sulfur in these products, so I switched to salicylic acid based cleansers for the meantime. Proactiv may be good for mild to moderate acne (this is a stretch), but I honestly don't think it is potent enough to do much good. |
