Thanks so much Chel - I just got back.
The appt. went ok. The doc wants to do a PET scan. Something about injecting me with sugar (?) to see all my lymph nodes to get to the source of what's going on. She is waiting to see if my insurance will cover it -most likely not - however, if they don't, she is going to do an MRI of my neck, thyroid, etc.., and an ultrasound of my underarms, where the nodes are swollen. I have had a few things ruled out, but still waiting for some ANA levels, as well as an ultrasound last week on my gallbladder, pancreas, and liver. After all this happens, both docs want to send me to an EENT.
Anyway, thanks for posting, I am being told to practice a lot of self care right now, something I am not used to, because I want to be superwoman and think I need to please my family. My head goes crazy trying to do everything at once. I have one more doc appt tomorrow, but that's with a nutritionist to basically talk about my eating which I'm doing with the IR diet, so not sure the point of that visit, she can't really do anything else about the swollen glands.
