Hey everyone...
Earlier today I posted to a thread much like this on an L Word forum so Im basically going to say the same thing here.
I was raised by my single mother and grandparents in a Methodist Christian house. We went to church almost every sunday and what not. I am 20 years old and I fully believe that Christ is my Savior. I am a born again Christian, very spiritual and vary faithful. My faith and love, trust in God is very important to me. However, more then orgainized religion, I believe in being spiritual. I no longer go to church every sunday, mostly because I just dont have the time. But one thing is for sure, I cant sleep unless I have said my prayers.
My mother is a lesbian and I am bisexual
My mother is just as spiritual as I am and we have many conversations on this (we're extremely close, best of friends) and how we feel. We have come to a conclusion...
God teaches us to love thy neighbor, to love those who hate us, to love and accept those who are different then we are... so why would God judge us because we are different? The 'meaning' of life in my eyes is to be happy and to feel love for another and feel loved in return. As long as we are not commiting selfish sins along the way, what harm are we doing? God created us and therefor, God will always love us, we are His children, no matter of race, color, sexual orientation, etc. If God loves those murderers in jail, he most certainly loves us.
Keep it going... be yourself and dont let anyone tell you that because you prefere to love another woman than a man, or love both as I do, that you are wrong or going against God. These people are biggots and are in no way doing the work of Christ.

They are actually, when you think about it, going against Christ because they are not loving all people, and they are not accepting all people. They are being prejudice and judgemental... they are not the ones who judge us. He is the one who judges us based on our whole lives, not just one minut aspect.
So Cysters, be proud, be gay, be straight, be bi, be Christian, be Jewish, be Muslim, be agnostic or athiest! Be yourself!
