I was on spiro 100 mg for 2 years. I had irregular AF the whole time (had nonhormonal IUD; I hate bcp), every 2 weeks. Yay. Good news was I lost 40 pounds and had beautiful skin (skin got better in one month). Also stopped shedding head hair & growing mustache. Actually, my hair grew REALLY fast but didn't ever regrow bald areas. Took metformin and made spiro stop working--all symptoms got worse during & even after quitting met.
