Okay, you started it!
Yeah, I find leaving my legs, pits and nipple-lashes intact is much more sensually rewarding than shaving 'em off ;-> My partner either actually agrees, or is smart enough to say the right things .

The odd little wiry hairs on shoulderblade, cheek, and chest, however, they can go.

I've never minded a proper pelt. (on me or anyone else) but I *hate* scraggly hair on myself.

I'm a tall, strong-featured woman, and have often been mistaken for a male anyway. I don't *think* a full beard would bug me too much. I think I still wouldn't like having my pubic hair patch protruding around my swimwear, though.

But that's probably more sensory than social, in all honesty

Reading the distress in some people's posts really makes me want to go out and strangle whoever made them feel so imperfect just 'cause they're hairy.

I lived in Germany for a couple of years, and they (most of Europe, in fact) have a totally different view of bodies than we do.
They even had some porn hat I liked. Some of it was crap ;-> But some of it is *real*. Real people, real bodies, real(istic) stories. It's a whole genre there that glorifies realism. What a concept.

And I knew some very beautiful and much-desired women over there who had a *lot* more hair than me ;->

It really awakened me to how *stupid* the American hair-and-hygeiene fetish is.

When I went back to the US, I had a very hard time taking any of it seriously.

I'm glad you posted It's good for people to get a different perspective.
