i just recently had a laperoscopy done to remove some uterine fibroids (he also did some other stuff while he was in there). i have chronic pain, but have very light periods. 24 hours max and NO heavy bleeding.

my ovaries are enlarged which my doctor thinks that is what is going to continue causing my pain. i wasn't looking forward to that diagnosis since i thought that once the tumors were removed the pain would stop. this has not been the case. pretty disheartening since i could easily miss 3 days or more of work a month because of the pain. it's a never ending cycle.

dr. says my next option to to seek pain therapy since it has become dibilitating. also recommended acupunture. has anyone gone through this?
