from my bloodwork that is. I went to my first appt. with a specialist yesterday and he diagnosed me with PCOS from my history. They took 2 vials of blood to test and are supposed to call me with the results today. I guess that as long as the bloodwork confirms then I will be back in for medication.
He seemed very positive about my ability to conceive. I am optimistically hopeful. I don't want to get my hopes up to much.
Anyway, here is a short intro for anyone who didn't see it on the other board (I think that I posted it in the wrong place before):
I am Carie, 29, married to Norman, 31. We have 2 sons, Lee is 9 and Greg is 6. I have been off bc for 5 years and we have been ttc for at least 3. My cycles haven't been normal since I went off the bc. I would go for 3 months at a time. This last time it was over 4 months and family dr. had to give me provera to get me to start. That is when I was referred.
We would love to have at least one more baby. I long to hold another baby
Anyway, I am relieved to have a diagnosis and a plan of attack! I am very glad that I have this group of friends to share the struggle with.
