I smiled the whole time I was reading your last one - if someone was ever a blessing I think you are, I needed that smile today, I might just get something done! On the magazine...I decided to do this because I am just sick of looking at half naked women with perfect bodies flaunting the covers of all the women's magazines out there! UGH!!! lol. I suscribe to Shape mag and I pick up Self every once in awhile and I am just tired of looking at them - also, the fashions that are around these days are not in keeping with modesty at all (at least some). So last month I decided someone needed to make a different kind of magazine, and then I decided maybe I should pull a Nike and "just DO it"! It may take me a year to get my first issue out, but it will have all of the same stuff the major ones do (health, beauty, fashion, etc.) but with a twist - The fashions will be modest but modern, beauty will also mean inner beauty, I am devoting articles to spiritual health as well as body, and you will never see a bikini clad supermodel gracing the cover! There will be more in there also. I thought I might even devote a section for the DHs.
I am really excited about it, now it is just getting it put together. I have a sister who does photography, so she is taking pics for me and I am writing most of the articles - I do have another sister who is good at coming up with those too, so she may help. I will keep you posted on how that goes - I just don't see anything like it on store shelves and I think it would be wonderful to have it out there. Baby Licker?! ha ha! That is too funny!
Kara ~ I just can't get enough of the sacraments! I am trying for confession tomorrow. I think we all forget how important they are, how much we need them until we go. What a great post! I will be praying for ya!
