I was hospitalized for 5 day. I had OHSS. I was in so much pain. I gained 27pounds and 14 inches in about a day and a half. I was on IV as well and they put a catheter.
There is 2 kinds of OHSS. I had early onset. I did not get pregnant. However your friend could be pregnant.
Does she have PCOS?
When did she have her IUI done?
Tell her to hang in there, It does get better. However if she is pregnant she will still have OHSS and not feel very good. I can't remember how long OHSS last for if your pregnant. I have heard of them getting you to drink V8. |
