Stephanie ~ I agree with you, God definately uses these things to teach. I always wondered if maybe I have PCOS just so I can help someone else with PCOS. The mom of a girl a few years behind me in school works at our grocery store, and as I was in her line she mentioned being so happy for me that I was finally able to have another baby after so long. She then mentioned that her DD had been trying for awhile for another baby, gained lots of weight, etc. I told her to check into this - by her symptoms she sounds just like me (her name is Tammy too oddly enough)
Just back in July I met a girl that was visiting DH's grandmother and we started talking about "girl" stuff - she asked me a lot of questions about what I had and then she went to the Dr. and was dx with it! She is now getting treatment. You just never really know what God has in store...

Update from the fair... DD took 6th place market in her weight class!
That is out of 10 kids. She is in a tougher class this year because of her pig weight - 250 is right in the nice mid-range, but the competition is a bit tighter. DD is having a blast out there - she is like her parents, hates to practice, but loves just doing it! She can hardly wait to get in the ring tomorrow.
