After reading so many posts on the board about Met I think I'm going to call my gyn to see if I can get a prescription. He offered me this or BCP and I asked him to give me whichever will give me more energy -- so got the BCP.

I've been on Atkins for four months and have only lost 20 pounds (while other people who weigh less than me and don't have pcos have already lost 40). I exercise and take the recommended supplements so the next step is to try the Met to see if that will boost my insulin sensitivity and help with the weight loss.
