Proactiv only sort of worked for me, but I don't trust anything from Quixtar. The idea that sodium chlorite dissolves sebum into water and salt is ludicrous.

It's chemically impossible to break the componants of sebum apart and get salt water. If memory serves me correctly, carbon doesn't like to give up its bonds with oxygen or hydrogen. Even if sodium chlorite dissolved the sebum into salt water, what happens to all the carbon? (The photos aren't clear enough to be convincing)
