I've been TTc for two years. I've been diagnosed with PCOS since I was 15. I didnt realize the seriousness of it until I turned 18. The doc that Dx me was not very informative. He said I may have to take Bc for a very long time and when its time to have a baby I will need help. At 15 those things werent important so I blew it off. Right now I'm on Fortamet 500mg I was suppose to bump up to 1500mg by now but everytime I go 1000mg my stomach goes haywire. I tried plain Metformin I couldnt take it at all. I did notice when I lost weight before AF came every month for five months I gained the weight bak and she dissapeared again. So I decided to go back to the weight lost regimen that I was using and I did but now I have not lost a pound like it became extra hard. I'm starting to become really really fustrated. Almost to the point where I'm ready to give up on having a child and believing that Pcos will never go away. But I'm trying to remain strong but its hard on me and my husband.
