Question Trouble With Insurance

Hi Everyone! I'm new to Soul Cysters. I was diagnosed with PCOS in April, and I had group insurance coverage with my employer. The company downsized, and I was let go. I have a new job, but i have to buy my own insurance. I am having a heck of a time getting coverage. I was told by a couple of insurance companies that PCOS is listed on the National Directory Of Rare Diseases (HUH!!!!!!!!), so by state law, they are not required to cover me, and there is no way I qualify for medicaid.....well, they told me if I had a baby I could qualify....now that's just discrimination!

Sorry I ranted, but I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem, and if so, what did you do?
