Frankly, I don't know HOW it works, on a chemical level. I do, however, know the difference in the results. I have a friend who insists on using Proactiv RELIGIOUSLY, and her skin is frightening. Similarly, I know several people who switched from Proactiv to Clear.Now, and they have beautiful skin, now. Personally, I'd rather use a product that's gonna work.
