EWWW! I feel very concerned about this white shell business - That seems really not good - like maybe having the surface of ovary enclosed in a shell like that would be an obstruction/physical barrier to ovulation and proper ovarian function -- ??perhaps leading to the formation of cysts??.
I too would like to know more about the white shell like what it is made of and why/under what circumstances it forms and how common it is for women with PCOS to have. I wonder if there is anything that can be done about the shell or if that aspect of things ever gets better with treatment. Also can someone tell me,is the main purpose of the ovarian drilling to leave at least part of the ovary surface free from the shell or it is mainly to distroy at least some of the cysts? |
