Pam-I get these ALL the time. I have been hospitolized 2 times because they had gotten so infected and huge. 1 even tested positive for strep. Alot of other times I had to have them lanced at the clinic

I use bactroban cream on them. But when I get the bad ones that have me out of commision I use epsom salt in a warm rag, placed it right on the boil and then put a heating pad on that, and the heat draws the crap right out. I have done that with the last 2 real bad ones I have had. 1 was just a couple weeks ago. I typically have to get those lanced but that has been working.

Nicole! I have asked this before and I am happy to know that it is not a coinsidence. I hardly ever have a natural af, but every once in a while I get a bad boil (I have these ALWAYS-the real bad ones I get a few times a year) about 7-10 days later af comes. It also happens when I use provera. My theory??????Higher progersterone is one of the causes of these suckers.
