I was diagnosed with PCOS and HS as well. My doctor said that HS was not contagious and to not worry. I used to be on BC and when I was, it seemed to clear up.....only scars remained......But now, they took me of BC because it was messing with my blood pressure. I've been on met for over 2 years and I read someone else's post here mentioning that since they been on met, there was no flare up. Unfortunately, that isn't the case for me. For me, since I've been off BC they've come up all over again.
It's nice to see that I'm not alone!!
