I will be glad to help you all that I can, I am still relying on the help of the other cysters here too.

If you can find an RE I would definately recommend it. I had the same problems with GYN's just giving me meds and pushing me out the door. My current GYN, however, referred me to my RE so you may want to ask and see if they know of any. My RE ran TONS of tests and moved forward from there, he also went into great detail with me about sperm banks and inseminations in the office vs. at home. I was scared that he was going to tell me I needed to lose 100 lbs. before we started TTC but that never once came out of his mouth. He actaully said to me that he sees patients like me all the time.

As far as the clomid goes, the day you start your period is Cycle Day 1 and you begin counting from there. For me, I begin the clomid on cycle day 3 and continue through CD 7. Then on CD 12 I go into the office for an Ultrasound to ensure I am O'ing. And at this point that is all I know because I haven't actually started the process. I have my clomid and am just waiting for AF to get here! The dr ran the HSG I mentioned previously just to make sure we didn't try inseminating only to find my tubes were blocked, this is an optional procedure but I have read that it does increase the odds of getting PG. I guess maybe because it kind of "blows the dust off" if you know what I mean.

After my first visit to the RE things moved so quickly. That appt was Dec 27 and here I am getting ready (hopefully) to begin our first insemination. I am so excited I can't stand it!

We live in Savannah Georgia, have you ever been here? I was born and raised in Atlanta and moved here about a year ago. Are you anywhere near Seattle?

Okay, I've rambled enough, sorry for the long post...I just get excited knowing there are other people going through the same things that I am and can actually understand.
