Welcome, Mari.
Just a word about Bupa - if you're already diagnosed with PCOS, I'm afraid they'll exclude it from your new policy, so they'll be no use to you. (I know this, because I have PCOS and Bupa, too - but it's no good for the PCOS unfortunately, although great otherwise!)
You may not know this, but you can insist you're referred to a gynae and/or endocrinologist (hormone doc). They have to, if you make them. In fact, they really should! Don't take no for an answer from your GP. The other tip is to go with a folder of information about PCOS (loads of good stuff on here) and bamboozle them! The more knowledgeable you sound, the less they'll be able to ignore you.
Best wishes,
Tory
