My success story....
I've gotten pregnant so that my babies are due the same month that I started met the following year. How's that for regularity? I guess it takes 3-4 months for my body to react to it, but it sure seems to work as I am now pregnant with my 3rd.
I'm a thin cyster and have never been tested for IR. I've taken different doses (see my signature) based on the latest research at the time I was trying to conceive. I also followed low carb diets, but this last one I wasn't very strict and I exercised. My doctor has me stay on met for the entire pregnancy. Good luck!
