Hi Trishain - Congratulations!!!!! Wow, you're staying on 2000mg of met for the entire pregnancy? See this is where I get frustrated with the medical field in regards to PCOS, Met and pregnancy - No one agrees on what is correct! I had one doctor tell me to stop my Met immediately when I found out I was pregnant which I refused to do and then my current doctor said only stay on it for the 1st trimester but now I'm wondering if I should have stayed on it? I'm 16 weeks and so far everything is good but down the road I'm worried about Gest. Diabetes.
Any specific reason your doctor had you continue the Met?
