I had one doctor tell me to stop my Met immediately when I found out I was pregnant which I refused to do and then my current doctor said only stay on it for the 1st trimester but now I'm wondering if I should have stayed on it? I'm 16 weeks and so far everything is good but down the road I'm worried about Gest. Diabetes.

Any specific reason your doctor had you continue the Met?

Again, Congrats!!!!
Hi, I just had a pos. pregnancy test and I'm currently on 850 mg of Met. I'm going to call my doctor and find out what they suggest but after reading these threads, it sounds like there are different thoughts on whether or not to stay on Met. This is my first pregnancy so I'm really nervous about miscarriage and don't want to do anything to mess this up.
Any thoughts?
