Im now on 3000mg Metformin.
Im also type II diabetic, thats why Im on Metformin, just happens to help some of my pcos symptoms.
My diabetes team said that the minute I find out that Im pregnant then I am to stop the Metformin and go onto insulin injections.
They said that the occasional woman there stays on it for the pregnancy but they dont have enough proof that its NOT harmful so they want me off of it.
I do realise that its only my clinic saying this and plenty of people stay on it, its just that when Im lucky enough to get pregnant Im gonna do exactly what Im told.
Im miffed Ive not gotten a period yet though, Im getting raging pmt and cramps and loads of vaginal fluid (enough to make me think Im on but Im not) but no period - miffs me off big time.
