Ugh, this is so frustrating though! I went to the doctor today and he told me to stop taking the metformin and prescribed me progesterone tablets instead. I really don't know what to do...I feel like I should listen to him since he's the doctor but then I hear so many other things. He did tell me I have a high chance of miscarriage because of my PCOS and that's why he prescribed the progesterone. I guess I will follow his advice, wish me luck!!

Hi there, I know it's been a while since you posted this but I just wanted to say my OB had me on my met for my whole pregnancy and the perinatologist agreed. Hope all is well.
