Ladies I have been on the wrong thread. I'm going through the same thing I was going to my ob for a couple of years went through about two to three different rounds of clomid and metformin had two miscarriages. Then all of sudden after the second miscarriage I didn't get pregnant for the next 4 months so my doc sent me to a specialist at the North carolina center for reproductive medicine, this doctor did a saline ultrasound and nothing unusual he put me on a weight loss pill, he said he start seeing results with someone 5'3 at 186 I was 252, now I'm 225, month after month I return to the dr. and he continues to prescribe the weightloss pill then I was like can you tell us when we can start on the first cycle of IUI , he said ok if you lose 15 more lbs, I'll put you on provera to jumpstart your menstrual, then put you on clomid, then give you a shot to release the eggs, then so forth.... these last few pounds are the hardest. |
