Salsal- I'm no doctor, but it seems to me like an ibuprofen product would be contraindicated in your situation. Ibuprofen is related to asprin, which is actually a blood thinner. I would think that taking anything that will thin your blood would actually make the bleeding worse. You may want to call your Dr.'s office and ask for clarification.

As for me, I was diagnosed with PCOS in December 2006 after 3 failed Clomid cycles. I had ovarian drilling surgery in April and have been bleeding ever since. For the first 3 weeks, the bleeding was very ligh and brownish in color. Then it turned to bright red, fresh blood, and got a little heavier. My Dr's nurse and I agreed that this change signaled the start of AF. That was 4 weeks ago, and I'm still having the light bleeding. It never got heavy and I never got cramps. The nurse explained it to me that I probably had avery thick endometrium from being anovulatory for so long, and that it will probably take a while for it to clear out. 4 weeks seems like a very long time to have AF and I'm really starting to wonder if there's something else going on. I'm really getting sick of bleeding!!!
