Alowe - I'm another thin sister who was tested and was not even close on the scale to being IR. My Dr said anything over a 12 I believe is considered IR and I was at a 3!!! If you read some of my former posts I had to fight w/ my RE specialist at the time who would not put me on the Met because of that test. My regular Dr and then another Specialist I found were the ones who listened and prescribed and I finally O'd and got a BFP on the 2000mg dose! It did take 4 months for the Met to work. Guess I have a stubborn body.
I never ever ovulated on my own before Met (haven't since I've been a teen) and was Clomid resistant too.
