Yes......if you're PG!
Other than that, no, it's the opposite. You can have a period and NOT ovulate. If you ovulate you produce Progesterone and if you don't become PG the levels of Prog will drop and this is what induces AF, it's a signal to your body to start shedding the lining of uterus. I guess there's always a chance or an exception but from what I've read it would be very very rare.
