It's possible to have high testosterone w/o having hirsutism and other symptoms. I get one (and I mean one only) chin hair and I have a peach fuzz mustache, and my testosterone was 94. I think that all has to do with genetics how severe your symptoms are and not your actual levels, my doc tested for this because this is how she diagnoses PCOS.

I question these docs who do not try to lower a woman's T with met, or at least ask her to go on spiro and BCP for a few months to lower it. There are several studies that indicate low birth weight in babies of women with high T, more and more data are coming out indicating a major problem in women with high T. One even goes so far as to say that the teen pregnancy problem is being resolved b/c of high T in younger women, saying our young girls are not fertile. Doc's really need to get a handle on this.
