The rates for insurance in the Northeast are out of this world. When we still lived in NJ the rates for the insurance through my husband's work was over $400. It is half of that for us here. I wish I could tell you going with private insurance is cheaper, but we did that for a little bit and it wasn't. (and that was here in GA)
