I feel your pain. If I get a policy here I was quote $521 per month FOR JUST ME!!!! If I go on the state plan for high risk (since lucky me, I have pre-existing conditions, i.e., PCOS) It will be 600+ per month for JUST ME! I have chosen just to not have insurance. That is too damn much to pay for one person. It's a joke.
oh, and I was reading in Forbes (I think it was) that United Healthcare is the third most profitable company (or something like that.) Yeah, that's f*%#*^d up!
