I have just gotten my TSH done and it is at 2.57, should I be concerned since it is close to 3.0. i go to the doc on mon. to discuss my labs 3 have come back abnormal and I rally don't want to worry about a 4th but I just want to be prepared, but they are still testing by the .35-5.5 range. I printed all the info and am going to take it with me, my doc is really good but usually dreads when I bring him something to read. But this is how I found out I had PCOS when I switched to my current doc from a doc that wouldn't listen, I came across some articles on PCOS and printed them and took them in to new doc, he didn't even have to examine me, he looked over my medical history and said this is exactly what you have and I want some blood work. Since then I have been treated for PCOS and IR...and haven't switched docs in 6 yrs. Anyway thank you for posting all this info, my sister in law has Hypothyroidism and I will send her this also.
