yes, it's weights (or bodyweight exercises like lunges).
Strength training, should be part of your 'medicine chest'. Even more than cardio, it has a positive effect on your hormones.
There's an article in Diet & Exercise titled "Pick Up Weights" that is really good. Run a search for it.
