I see Dr. Laredo at the Women's College Hospital. Super nice and knows a lot. You need a referral. You don't need to be ready to get pregnant to see her and she will put you on metformin if you ask.
Metformin is not working for me. Too many GI side effects so I will try a holistic/diet approach next.
About Women's College, it is a teaching hospital, so an intern will see you first everytime. You'll have to go over you history with him/her and then Dr. Laredo will come in to see you. For that, give yourself at least an hour for your appointment.
