mariela welcome to SC! ive been there where u are before and it sucked because i still had hope that i didnt have PCOS but then again my symptoms such as hirsutism were always on my mind and i knew that was a problem.and it killed me too but dont worry theres laser thank god!i always got teased by boys about my hirsutism i had it on my face and apparently my mother never felt like she should tell me that it was becoming thicker and extremely obvious so i dont know somehow in my head i thought it didnt show.but thank god now i've gotten laser and it worked wonders.you should look into it,BUT i think you should change doctors.who said u needed to lose weight for him to check out if you have PCOS?u'd be surprised not alot of drs know what PCOS is.they're not too familiar with it.i knew a girl who had hirsutism,cysts,enlarged ovaries,high testosterone, and her dr told her there was no way she had PCOS because some of her bloodwork was normal and the other half wasnt.he should have referred her to an endo so yeah ur dr is weird.it could be possible you have it i hope you dont, but whatever it is you should get it treated and it seems ur dr is taking a stroll in the park.go to a doctor who actually cares and u'll see and feel the difference!
