Im 32/lesbian/Canada and I will tell ya, in MHO, most the women in the community are "ok" with the manliness of it all here on the Wet coast, however.....that is only if you are a butch/boi/queer. I am most definately a femme and I have had people GASP at my chin hair! My wife (yay Canada) doesn't mind the hair, though we suspect she too has PCOS with the weight/hair loss/WAYYYYY irregular mentruation but she doesn't mind my EXTRA hair, however, recently I noticed my head hair is thinning in the front! I am a black woman (oh yea, there are pictures on here lol) and whereas being bald for a man or really masc. girl is ok, I like bein a girly girl and I think it bothers me more than anyone else I have ever met (not that I take a poll, but I know it bugs me a lot).
Oooh yea, I noticed as well that there is a lot of TTC here and as I have 2 children already, I so don't care about that part, mind you, when I gained 100 lbs 7 yrs ago and was diagnosed that was my killer...mine wife doesn't want anymore children as she is at an advanced age (older than me a lot).
I have to admit it is cool finding out there is a LGBT forumm on here too! I was diagnosed after having a physical and the Dr. asked me when my last menses was and I said 2 yrs before...he was shocked, so I explained what other doctors told me, it was because I was so heavy, simple as that, now on the other hand I find out that I am so heavy because of this and I dropped 80 lbs (and kept it off for years now) but am still very heavy though my periods are VERY regular now, like clockwork.
