i think a lot of us guys are in the same boat in that we are here to learn as much as we can about something which we will never fully truly grasp. i support my wife completely and the pcos is just another dimension to who and what she is. the sky is blue, taxes go up, she has pcos.... okay, so be it.

i try to take a pragmatic approach to this as best i can. the diet for example. the only things ive noticed the metformin doesnt get along with are the things i myself probably shouldnt really be eating either. so we have modified our cooking habits somewhat and thats for the better. not to mention imho it will be a lot easier on her to stick to a diet if im right there with here following it also. (to a high degree anyway)

the whole TTC thing, if it does it does, if not, then well not. lots of BMS hoping for a BFP when she POAS but we have decided not to really take additional measures beyond that. a fully joint decision that works for us. the weight? i dont see it. when specifically asked to notice something in particular i may see x article of clothing may fit a little tighter but otherwise i dont pay attention. nikki is nikki and i honestly dont care if she gains weight, loses weight, or turns purple. absolutely my soul mate and when we are eighty yrs old she will still look to me just like she did the day we met.

the hormonal thing? unwanted hair can be zapped, who doesnt get the occasional zit?, moodiness? not hardly- ive known women in my past that didnt have pcos and were psychotic wack-jobs so what few mood swings nik may get are a walk in the park. LOL (i will admit its odd to see a WOMAN cry when LSU loses a football game) hahaha

whatever this so called game of life deals us is okay. i have her and she has me, no worries. be strong, be supportive, be there, and know when to shut up. that much ive figured out on my own already.
