It's horrible. I've been trying to get exact dx's since I was 14 years old. Because symptoms started showing up at such a young age all doctors were too nervous to tell me that I had PCOS. I have almost every symptom and now I'm 18 years old trying to get an exact answer and instead of sending my to a gyno my doctors just tell me here's your birth control and some Doxycycline... be happy. I know I have it, it would just be nice to get an exact answer, get what I mean? It's bothersome always being told "maybe you have PCOS, you just have all the symptoms but we don't want to risk telling you yes." We'll see what happens. |
