11. How old were you when you were diagnosed? 17, except the doctor just told me, didn't explain, and sent me home saying, "Lose weight." It took another year and a half before I realized how hard that actually was and that it was related to the PCOS, but have been slowly losing the weight since I made the connection.
12. What are you taking now? Omacor (fish oil) and occasionally metformin.
13. Does it help? The metformin helps but I can't take it. It makes my blood sugar drop, so I've decided to stop taking it.
14. What have you taken? Plenty, but unrelated.

16. Does anyone else in your family have PCOS? No, but my mother and grandma have Type II Diabetes.
