I am pretty sure that the selling of medications prescribed solely to YOU is illegal. I don't know how you would go about "exchanging" Rx's with someone who has the prescription, but can't afford the pills, but for any of those out there who are thinking of doing so without proof that the person you are "doing business with" is supposed to be taking the Rx, please consider that we don't always know what other medications someone is on and how they will interact with each other. I was prescribed a medication a few months ago to treat my thyroid disorder and had no idea that it could react fatally with another pill I was taking for PCOS. my doctor even missed that one, it was actually my pharmacist who saved me from a possible heart attack. Had someone else just said "oh, here, use mine" before I went to the pharmacy, I could have been in serious trouble.

Please, leave it to a doctor to prescribe Rx's, even if you have the same exact symptoms and you know this medicine would help a friend, it isn't worth it if you don't know their medical history.
