Treatment for ED is tons cheaper than infertility treatments. Insurance companies couldn't pay for infertility treatments and make any money. Artificial insemination and in vitro fertilization cost thousands of dollars per try. I'm not being deliberately obtuse. I know that most folks just want them to pay for the drugs that stimulate ovulation. I don't understand why they have to lump it all together in one category.

I also think that they consider infertility treatments in the same category as cosmetic surgery. It is not necessary for a person to survive. Of course that doesn't explain why they pay for ED treatments. You can probably chalk that up to the fact that men are the head honchos in most businesses.
