 it sucks
I just wrote a huge post and it got deleted!!! GRR. Anyway, most states suck at infertility coverage. With a few exceptions, MA covers it and it raises the premiums about $2 a month. Whoa, $2! That pales in comparison to what we pay for people's health complications from smoking, drinking, fast food, driving like idiots, drugs, and people abusing the healthcare system with false claims. I work in the ER and trust me, there are a lot of people that fall into these categories.
I live in GA and we suck. They won't even pay for brand-name birth control of any type, no Ring, no YAZ, no Loestrin24. They suck! They wouldn't even pay my husband's antibiotic Levaquin last year. And this is state insurance from govt job!! Yet this "Christian" "family values" state pays 100% for elective abortion. Makes me want to vomit.
And I won't even go into the maternity leave and pay policies in this nation...SUCKS!!! Worst industrialized maternity policies on the planet, and we get the least regular old vacation too! *sigh*
