Hello everyone. I am new to this site and I have not yet been diagnosed with PCOS. I have a pituitary tumor called a macroadenoma which is secreting to much prolactin in my body causing irregular periods, lack of ovulations, milk in the breast, weight gain, and infertility. I have been having unprotected sex with DH for over 2 years and never got pregnant. Since I found this site I noticed that many of the symptoms I am reading about I have as well. I have suffered with a sharp pain on my right side for many years now. The pain is right in the crease of the leg by the hip area and is extremely severe and sharp then it goes away. It comes and goes from time to time and has been for many years now. I also have some hair growing on my chin and cheecks. I have complained about the pain and have had an US done. They didn't find cycst however they noticed extra fluid. I also get dark patches on my skin and after reading this info it makes me think that I have PCOS as well.I have asked drs about the dark spots on my stomach and they don't seem to know what it is. I will be scheduling a appointment to try and get a dx. Reading all of the info on this site has been extremely helpful. |
