Is that like acanthosis nigricans? (I assume I spelt that right?)
If so, its linked to insulin resistance. I had it under my breasts and around my ankles. It disappeared after I started met and came back a little when I came off met and put on some weight. Its now fading again, I guess because I'm losing weight and eating healthier and my IR is more controlled. (And hopefully reversing if this study at the uni I'm participating in is working!)
