Because I am a thin cyster and my gluclose test came back normal, I had to beg for the met. I agreed to start at 250mg for days 1-4 and then gradually increase up to 1000.

I know that you mentioned your doctor is only starting you out at 250mg daily...is there a reason he wants to start you so low? If you have a pretty tough tummy like I do, I might suggest asking him if you can start higher.
