Since I am planning to have a family within the next 2 years, I would like to start preparing my body to get rid of the pill and regulate my cycles and my ovulation without it. I am also thin and never tested for IR, so this is the common we have. My PCO symptoms were acne and irregular periods (all ok and normal with the BCP). I would appreciate if you could give me some consultation on what you suggest to do from now on. Metformin seems a promising solution. Do you take it alone and/or with other stuff (vitamins, herbs, etc.) and how do you manage any symptoms you may had?
Thank you in advance.
I would appreciate your answer very much.

Met helped me get pg with both my children, but I still had long cycles. I just started Vitex (which is supposed to be good when coming off the pill) and so far it seems to be helping shorted everything!
