Deb, I think you're right about checking out my options at the clinic. I lived over east (Northern NSW) till this year (I'm a Perth girl, but hubby was from over east and we lived there for 4-5 years, until I got WAY too homesick) and was seeing a wonderful OB/Gyn on the Gold Coast (well worth the 4 hour drive!). I've tried Clomid, and it seems to do NOTHING for me. I took it this last cycle because I still had a packet left over from last year, and it actually DELAYED my ovulation, if you can believe it! Met's been the wonder drug for me - it sent me from extremely erratic cycles to somewhat regular 38 day cycles since it was upped this year to 1500mg. Oh, and I haven't been back to the unmarried thread either
Hey Bek, I'm glad you've heard good stuff about Hollywood, although I'm sure it's expensive as well! I've also been to see Bronwyn Stuckey (RE) at Charlie Gardiner, and was NOT impressed. That was April this year, and I've yet to manage to get the results from all the tests she ran on me! Have you started any treatments at Pivet yet?
