I have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis (auto-immune hypothyroidism). My mom has it as well and also has Reynaud Phenomenon. My sister has Grave's Disease (auto-immune hyperthyroidism) and my brother has Juvenile or Type 1 Diabetes as well as Hashimoto's Disease. The only other family member we know of with a diagnosed auto-immune disease is my maternal grandmother. She has vitaligo. If you have an auto-immune disease it is important to keep in mind that you inherit the ability for your body to attack itself...no the disease itself. I found that so intriguing when I learned it.
