I was told by my RE that usually they will start you out with clomid and if you do not respond to that they will switch you to femara. femara does not change the cervical mucous as much as clomid so the sperm do not have such a hard time swimming through. I did not repond to clomid at all, however I just took my first round of femara CD's 5-9. I just finished yesterday. I do not remeber the side effects from clomid, but for me femara mad me very lightheaded, dizzy, drunk feeling, and very tired. My pharmachist said these were normal and that they will take a couple of days to go away. hopefully this works. I have to test for ovulation and the we go in for an IUI hopefully I can get some great new year news!! |
